Although Dave Dalton never received the CMH (Congressional Medal of Honor), he was among the most decorated of all with a Silver Star, Bronze Star, earned for Valor,three Purple Hearts and over twenty other medals. He was the only SOG (Special Operations Group) to have been captured by the Lions and not only escaped,but rescued nine U.S. Marines while he was at it.
If you asked him about it, he would tell you "He was only doing his job,now go do yours". He was a man of few words but I soon found out that's not why they christened him "Silent Death"
